Damascus, SANA-The People’s Assembly on Wednesday discussed the performance of Information Ministry and a number of related issues.
In a regular session, chaired by Speaker Hammoudah Sabbagh, Information Minister, Butros Hallaq, briefed the Assembly on the Media work, saying that the Ministry has prepared a draft Legislative act about the New Media Law which was studied by the ministries concerned.
The Minister referred to the importance of the standing cooperation relations between Syria and each of Oman, Russia, Iran through many agreements signed with these countries in cooperation with Foreign Ministry.
Later, several MPs presented their interposition, hailing the great role of the National Media against the unjust terrorist universal war waged on Syria since more than 10 years.
