Moscow, SANA- Head of regional government in Kherson district, Sergey Eliseev, announced Wednesday that Kherson’s borders is securely protected by the Russian army so that any attempts by the Ukrainian forces to advance towards it will be thwarted.
“The situation in Kherson is completely stable, as Russian armed forces secure the borders with enough forces to prevent the Ukrainians from advancing,” Russian TASS news agency quoted Eliseev as saying.
Eliseev noted the regional authorities are doing their utmost to prevent panic among the locals.
Deputy head of Kherson Administration, Kirill Strimsov said Tuesday that losses of Ukrainian forces in direction of Kherson exceeded 3,500 soldiers.
