Amman, SANA- The Syrian U-23 football team achieved a great win over Northern Mariana Islands team by 10-0 in group D of the AFC qualifiers held in Amman.
The Syrian team opened its participation by beating Chinese Taipei 1-0, and it will meet in its third match with Jordan next Friday.
The team that gains the first place in each group qualifies for the Asian finals, along with the best 5 teams that get second place in the ten groups of qualifiers to join the team of Uzbekistan, the host of the tournament.
