Moscow, SANA- Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has affirmed that the United States of America is pursuing an aggressive policy towards Russia, pointing out that the possibility of continuing the strategic dialogue between the United States and Russia that the Americans cut off is far from clear.
Ryabkov was quoted by Ryabkov as saying in an interview with the (Izvestia) newspaper today: “The speculation about the prospects for a strategic dialogue with the United States is a futile task given Washington’s anti-Russian policy “.
Ryabkov added that the possibility of resuming dialogue is not at all clear given the reckless and aggressive policy pursued by Washington towards Russia.
He pointed out that his country is watching some signs related to the resumption of dialogue on the issue of strategic offensive weapons, but what is behind them is still unclear and negotiations in general are not conducted through the media.
Ryabkov stressed that the Russian vision for dialogue with the United States on strategic stability remains unchanged, saying: “Our idea is to develop a new security equation that takes into account all factors that affect strategic stability, and to this end we strive to cover the full range of strategic offensive, defensive, nuclear and non-nuclear weapons.”
