Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad accepted on Sunday credentials of Waheed Mubarak Sayyar as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Syria.
President al-Assad received Sayyar, and exchanged discussions with him a number of topics and issues of concern to the two brotherly countries, wishing him success in his mission.
Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Faysal Mikdad, and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Mansour Azzam, attended the ceremony of receiving credentials.
The Ambassador was received and and bid farewell with the customary ceremonies at the People’s Palace.
