Moscow, SANA- Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said that the demands of the Ukrainian forces and militants to exchange civilians, who are held in Azovstal plant, for food and medicine are similar to those terrorists’ in Syria.
“Members of Azov battalion in the factory proposed the exchange of civilians in turn of food and medicine, and these demands are very similar to the terrorists ’ones in Syria” Peskov told reporters on Thursday.
Peskov added that Russian forces are still besieging the Azovstal factory, denying the authenticity of the Ukrainian side’s announcement of an attack by Russian forces on the factory complex.
He said “The Ukrainian side, especially those who are fortified in the factory, are well-known of their lies and false allegations, and therefore the information released by them must be verified to the utmost degree.”.
