Moscow, SANA-The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that, during the past 24 hours, Russian forces destroyed 67 Ukrainian military installations, including 6 command centers, as part of the special military operation to protect the residents of Donbass.
The Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov stated in a press briefing on Thursday that Russian missile forces destroyed 408 military targets in Ukraine last night, including 383 sites for mobilizing manpower and combat equipment and 18 centers of support, which led to the elimination of more than 300 elements of the Ukrainian extremist nationalists and the destruction of about 40 armored vehicles.
Konashenkov added that the Russian air defense systems shot down a Su-24 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force over Nikolaevka in the Luhansk Republic, and 5 Ukrainian drones were destroyed in several towns.
Konashenkov noted that four Ukrainian military targets were destroyed using high-precision air missiles, including weapons and ammunition depots.
He added that the Russian air defense forces repelled an attack with a Tochka-U ballistic missile in the vicinity of Izyum in Kharkov region
Konashenkov added that the Russian air defense units repelled that missile attack, and 12 shells were dropped from the high-powered missile launch system, in addition to two (Tochka-U) ballistic missiles, one of which fell in Shevchenko Park.
