Damascus, SANA- The Popular Committee for the Liberation of the Golan affirmed that the Evacuation Day, Syria’s Independence Day on 17 th of April, is an important day in the history of Syria.
In a statement on marking the seventy-sixth anniversary of the Evacuation Day, the committee indicated that whoever gained the independence from French colonialism is able to achieve victory in every time and place and resist the occupation.
The victory whose features are drawn by the Syrian Arab army with allies of resistance has become a reality and lessons for history and military ideology, The statement read.
The comittee underlined the inevitability of victory thanks to the sacrifices of our army, the steadfastness of our people and the wisdom of our leadership, and that the return of the Golan to the homeland is inevitable, stressing the continuation of the struggle against the Zionist project and terrorism in order to complete the liberation process and restore the Golan.
