Russian MoD: Russian forces target 48 Ukrainian military facilities, including two command centers

Moscow, SANA- The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that its forces targeted, during the last 24 hours, 48 ​​Ukrainian military facilities, including two command centers, a radar station, two sites for rocket launchers, an artillery battery, and 6 depots for artillery and rocket weapons.

“The Russian armed forces destroyed with high-precision weapons last night 12 Ukrainian military installations, including depots of weapons and ammunition for rocket-propelled grenades, as well as a Ukrainian MiG-29 warplane and a Mi-8 helicopter and a Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drone,” the ministry’s Official Spokesman, Major-General Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing on Thursday.

Konashenkov added that the Russian missile and artillery forces destroyed 770 targets, including 9 command posts, 101 fortified positions, 548 manpower mobilization sites and the means of fire of the Ukrainian armed forces, 110 artillery fire positions, a S-300 anti-aircraft missile system and an ammunition depot.

Konashenkov also announced that 134 Ukrainian soldiers, including 14 officers, surrendered and laid their arms voluntarily as part of the operation to liberate the city of Mariupol last night, while the number of Ukrainian soldiers of the 36th Marine Division who have surrendered during the past 24 hours has reached 1,160, including 176 officers.

He indicated that since the beginning of the special military operation, 131 aircraft, 104 helicopters, 245 anti-air defense missile systems, 448 drones, 2179 tanks and other armored vehicles, and 248 missile launchers have been shot down, in addition to destroying 944 gun and mortar fields and 2,088 of the special military vehicles of the Ukrainian armed forces.
