Moscow, SANA-The Russian Ambassador to Britain, Andrei Kelin, described the events in the Ukrainian city of Bucha as a “serious and dangerous provocation.”
Kelin told the Russian TASS news agency that the provocation in Bucha aims to put Kyiv in a “position of strength” during its talks with Russia.
The Russian diplomat noted that what took place was specifically implemented on the eve of European meetings within the format of the European Union and the NATO and on the eve of the G7 meeting to discuss tougher sanctions against Russia.
Kelin referred to the role of Britain and its media in what happened in Bucha, as the BBC rushed to take the first picture of the city on April 1st and it was published on the internet, and few hours later, the British Foreign Office issued its first statements and made accusations against Russia without conducting a fact-check or publishing any evidence.
