221 wanted persons have their files settled in Aleppo, Damascus

Aleppo,Damascus, SANA-176 wanted persons who were involved in the current events had their files settled on Thursday after they pledged not to carry out any act that destabilize security of the Homeland.

Assistant regional secretary of al-Baath Arab socialist party Hilal al-Hilal, who attended the settlement process, said a lot of those who were misled have recognized the reality of conspiracy and reconsidered their accounts to return to their normal life.

Sheikh Mahmoud Akkam, Aleppo’s Mufti affirmed the importance of the national reconciliations and love of Homeland, calling for intensifying the efforts to expel any foreigner from this pure land.

45 wanted persons from Kanaker released after turning themselves in

Meanwhile, 45 wanted persons from Kanaker town in Damascus countryside turned themselves in to authorities to have their legal status settled.

A police source said on Thursday that the persons have had their legal status settled after they pledged not to get involved in any act that might harm the homeland’s security.

Increasing numbers of wanted persons are laying down arms and turning themselves in to have their legal status settled in a trend that signals willingness on the part of those who took up arms against the state to mend their ways.
