Moscow , SANA- Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Vershinin, announced that an expected summit for heads of the guarantor states of Astana process ( Russia, Iran and Turkey ) on Syria, due to be held in Tehran, is still on the agenda.
“There is a delay in the meeting, but this format is still effect, Vershinin said, adding “We consider this summit is necessary and required, so it remains on the agenda.”
In this regard , Iranian senior Aid of Foreign Minister for special political affairs, Ali Asghar Khaji, said in December that preparations are underway to hold a summit for heads of the guarantor states of the Astana process on Syria in Tehran.
