Damascus, SANA-Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said that the Israeli enemy’s aggression on residential areas hours after the crime committed by the terrorist organization of Daesh shows the reality of clear and direct coordination between them.
“It was not a coincidence that the Israeli enemy launched a new aggression this morning on March 7th, 2022 against residential areas in Damascus countryside, hours after the terrorist organization of Daesh committed a crime yesterday in which a number of the brave Syrian Arab army were martyred,” Foreign ministry said in a statement.
The statement added that the Daesh-Israeli terrorist aggression shows the reality of clear and direct coordination between both criminal sides.
The ministry went on to say that the Syrian Arab Republic has warned of the repercussions of the Israeli repeated attacks on Syria and the heavy losses they cause in lives and infrastructure, in addition to intimidating the civilian population, including children and women.
It concluded by saying that believing in international legitimacy and the role of the United Nations in addressing issues of international peace and security, the Syrian Arab Republic calls on the United Nations and the Security Council, in particular, to assume their responsibility and not to deal with these serious risks through double standards.
