Mikdad offers condolence to DPRK Embassy on demise of Ambassador Mun Jong-nam in Damascus

Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad,, offered condolences, on behalf of the Ministry and its staff, to the Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Damascus on the demise of Ambassador Mun Jong-nam who passed away a brain stroke.

Minister Mikdad conveyed extended his warm condolences to the Korean people and leadership on the passing away of the ambassador, hailing the distinguished role and important achievements he obtained for his country during the performance of his duties in Damascus.

Chargé d’affairs of the Embassy expressed his deep gratitude for the Syrian Arab Republic’s sympathy with the DPRK and its following-up to the health condition of the late Ambassador.
