Damascus,SANA- Ministies of Information and Culture, in addition to Arab Writers Union mourned the death of the literary scholer Walid Ikhlasi after a journey he spent in writing plays ,novels and short stories.
Ikhalsi passed away on Saturday in Aleppo at the age of 87. He left dozens of novels and plays through which he enriched the theatre and culture in Syria to remain immortal as a creative writer.
The late Ikhlasi had about 40 literary works between novels,stories and criticism and he obtained several awards.
