Moscow, SANA – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Oleg Syromolotov, said that his country receives reports that terrorists are preparing for the stage of using chemical weapons in Syria, calling for an international active cooperation with Damascus in the fight against terrorism.
“It has become a preferred method for terrorists to use chemical weapons to subsequently blame the government forces, and messages about their readiness still regularly reach us through various channels,” Syromolotov said in an interview with TASS.
He added that the International terrorism in Syria was decisively defeated with the participation of Russia, and the security situation is now under the control of Damascus, nevertheless and despite the tireless efforts exerted by the Syrian government, there is still a high alert of terrorist threat in the country.
