80 more wanted persons from Homs released after turning themselves in

Homs, SANA – 80 wanted persons from Homs province had their legal status settled and were released on Sunday after they had turned themselves in and handed over their weapons to the authorities, SANA reporter said.

The persons released are from Talbiseh, al-Qseir, Jandar and al-Fruqlus from the countryside of Homs, in addition to several neighborhoods from the city, according to the reporter.

The past months have witnessed a surge in the number of wanted people and gunmen who turned themselves in to the authorities in various areas across the country. The majority of those get released after authorities settle their legal status.

As many as 269 wanted persons in the provinces of Damascus, its countryside, Aleppo, Deir Ezzor and Homs turned themselves in few days ago.
