Efforts to provide aid to displaced families in Hasaka continue

 Hasaka, SANA- The Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor, in cooperation with the local relief agencies, continued to provide aid to the families who have left their homes from the neighborhoods in the southern area in Hasaka city to the city center as a result of the US occupation aircraft and  QSD militia’s continued bombing of the surrounding area  of the Industrial Secondary Prison in  Ghweran neighborhood.

The neighborhood has witnessed disobedience and escape operations for DAESH terrorists since 20th of this month.

Head of the Directorate Ibrahim Khalaf said in a statement to SANA reporter that the number of displaced families from the southern region reached 3,900 families until yesterday evening, which were secured in five temporary shelters and the citizens  in the local community in the center of Hasaka city and the safe neighborhoods.

Khalaf explained  that a temporary shelter was opened yesterday in the area of ​​Hebbo lands, as it was accomodated  with mattresses, water and all possible relief supplies from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and some charity association.

He criticized the complete absence of any role of the international organizations working in the relief and humanitarian affairs in Hasaka province.
