Damascus, SANA- Ministry of Education and the Italian International Cooperation Organization signed on Wednesday a memo of understanding that deals with many points to support the educational work.
After the signing ceremony, Minister of Education, Darem Tabbaa, hoped the agreement would enter into force immediately, stressing the necessity of cooperation and coordination between the two sides in the field of facilitating the return of dropout children to their schools, focusing on the curricula of category B and activating joint activities.
In turn, Vucinichi said that the organization had started work in Syria in 2017, particularly in Damascus, Daraa, Aleppo and Deir -Ezzor provinces, pointing out that the memorandum includes joint activities and the mechanism to protect children and secure food and work to expand activities to facilitate the return of children to schools.
The Ministry also renewed a memorandum of understanding with the Spanish Organization Action Against Hunger.
Director of Planning and International Cooperation at the Education Ministry Ghassan Shaghari, on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with head of the Italian International Cooperation Organization Cordana Vucinichi.
The MoU aimed at coordinating and renewing cooperation between the two sides in the field of the restoration and rehabilitation of schools and developing the capabilities of teaching staff, and holding training courses for students.
