Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to drop to become slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial weak air pressure from the south accompanied by low air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be cloudy and rainy over the western and northern regions and over some parts of the central region and the rains will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes in the coastal region.
The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low to moderate speed over the eastern and northern regions, while it will be of changeable direction to southwesterly with a low speed in the rest of regions, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/10, Daraa 20/11, Homs 14/8, Hasaka 18/5, Tartous 21/13, Aleppo 16/8, Deir Ezzor 18/9.
