Damascus, SANA-Students from the Syrian Scientific Olympiad and the National Center for the Distinguished participated in the International Informatics competition, which was held on Saturday remotely by the Russian University of Innopolis, with the aim of reaching the most distinguished talents in the world in the field of informatics.
“44 youths, including 22 members of the National Team for the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in Informatics, and 22 others from the National Center for the Distinguished Students represented Syria in this international competition from five geographical centers in Damascus, Homs, Aleppo, Lattakia and Tartous,” The Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement to SANA.
The competition exams lasted for five continuous hours, according to the Agency.
More than 1,500 students representing more than 40 countries from around the world participated in this competition.
