Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad sent a cable of congratulation to his Majesty, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman, on the 51st anniversary of the National Day.
“I extend to you, and through you, to the brotherly people of the Sultanate of Oman, warmest congratulations on the 51st anniversary of Oman National Day, wishing you success in your relentless efforts for the progress and development of your country,” President Al-Assad said in the cable.”
President al-Assad affirmed that bilateral relations that bind the Syrian Arab Republic and Sultanate of Oman have always been distinguished and exceptional, and “we see, with great satisfaction, the continuous development of these relations in all fields in a way that enhances the brotherly ties between the Syrian and Omani peoples.”
President al-Assad wished His Majesty, Sultan of Oman, and the Omani people all prosperity and progress.
