Health Ministry: 182 new coronavirus cases recorded, 40 patients recover, 8 pass away

Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 182 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, adding that 40 patients recovered and 8 passed away.

The Ministry, in a statement, noted that the total number of infections which have been registered in Syria has reached up to 30,519 of which 23,007 have recovered, while 2,120 have died.

The first coronavirus case was registered in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported on the 29th of the same month.
