Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 2 to 3 degrees above average in the eastern and al-Jazeera regions, while they will be below average in the other regions as the country is affected by a superficial low pressure accompanied by southern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
In its Monday bulletin, Meteorology Department expected that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a little chance for showers over the mountains, while the weather will be misty and accompanied with dusty conditions in the eastern, al-Badia (semi desert) and al-Jazeera regions. Meanwhile, at night, the weather will be relatively cold, specially over the mountains,
The wind will be westerly with a moderate speed and active gusts, and southwesterly with a low to moderate speed over the coastal regions, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some several major Syrian cities will be as follow:
Damascus 33/18, Daraa 30/16, Homs 29/19, Tartous 29/22, Aleppo 32/20, Idleb 29/21, Deir Ezzor 40/24.
