Worldwide coronavirus deaths exceed three million and 305 thousand

Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of more than three million and 314 thousand people worldwide since its outbreak in December 2019, according to the latest statistics by the American Worldometers website.

According to the website, which tracks the latest developments of the pandemic worldwide, the total number of the coronavirus infections worldwide has reached up to 159,496,692, while the fatalities have climbed to 3,314,380 and the recoveries have amounted to 137,139,014.

The US still on top of the worst-hit countries by the virus in terms of the number of infections and deaths after recording 596,079 fatalities out of 33,503,595 infections, while India comes in the second place with 250,025 deaths out of 22,991,927 infections, then comes Brazil in the third place with 422,418 deaths out of 15,184,790 infections.
