Provinces, SANA – One child was killed and seven other children were injured when two terrorists threw a grenade at a house in Qamishli city.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that two terrorists on a motorbike threw a grenade at a group of children who were playing in the yard of a house in the western part of the city, killing a two-year-old child and injuring seven others, one of them sustaining severe wounds.
Meanwhile, two civilians were injured in a terrorist attack with mortar shells in Harasta suburb in Damascus Countryside.
A source at the Police Command told SANA reporter on Friday that two mortar shells fired by terrorists landed in a residential area in the suburb, leaving two civilians injured, in addition to causing material damage.
Terrorists fired three more mortar shells on the suburb, with these shells landing behind the municipality building, around the telephone department, and in Block C, causing material damage to a number of shops and cars.
Terrorists also fired two mortar shells on al-Kabbas neighborhood in Damascus, with one smashing into a house, while the other landing in a street. The source confirmed to SANA that no one was hurt in the attacks in al-Kabbas.
Meanwhile, material damage was inflicted by a terrorist mortar shell that hit a residential building in al-Sinaa area in Damascus.
A police source told SANA reporter that terrorists fired a mortar shell which landed on the roof of a building in al-Sinaa area, causing a material damage to civilians’ properties.
