Farmers of al-Bayarat al-Gharbiya in Palmyra Badia cultivate their lands with wheat and barley

Palmyra, SANA_ Farmers in al-Bayarat al-Gharbiya region of the Badia of Palmyra have resumed cultivating their lands as part of the implementation of the winter agricultural plan to cultivate wheat and barley, after all the mines planted by the terrorists before their withdrawal from the area were removed by the Syrian Arab Army.

Director of Agricultural Bank Branch in Palmyra Ihsan Al-Sabaa said in a statement to SANA that the bank worked, in coordination with the General Organization for Seed Multiplication, to deliver about 532 tons of wheat seeds and fertilizers to farmers.

A number of farmers expressed their happiness at their return to their agricultural work in the region, calling for the provision of fuel in sufficient quantities to implement the agricultural plan.
