More than 20 citizens in occupied Syrian Golan injured due to Israeli occupation forces’ aggression against them during their protest against Israeli scheme to set up wind turbines

Quneitra, SANA-More than 20 citizens in the occupied Syrian Golan were injured in an Israeli occupation forces’ attempt to disperse them after they have gathered between the occupied villages of Majdal Shams and Masa’da in protest against the occupations scheme to set up wind turbines on their lands, SANA reporter in Quneitra said Wednesday.

The reporter added that more than 20 citizens in the occupied Syrian Golan were injured due to the Israeli occupation forces’ attack against them with rubber bullets and tear gas, and others were arrested.

Earlier, the citizens of occupied Syrian Golan announced  start of the general and comprehensive strike that includes all life utilities and closing schools and remote education, and heading for the lands on which the Israeli occupation authorities seek to set up giant turbines, and spread in their lands to protect them and prevent the Israeli occupation authorities from carrying out their expansionist scheme in the properties of citizens.

The reporter added that the citizens started since the early morning to gather near al-Ya’fouri monument between the occupied villages of Majdal Shams and Masa’da  then they have been divided into groups to spread in the lands on which the occupation forces are seeking to set up the turbines.

The reporter added that a number of citizens were injured as a result of Israeli occupation forces use of rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse them, asserting that the Israeli forces are continuing their attack against the citizens so far.

On Monday, the occupation forces closed a number of main entrances to the villages of the occupied Syrian Golan and prevented the citizens from reaching their agricultural lands in the areas where the occupation authorities seek to set up large turbines on them at the time when the citizens crowded on the roads leading to their agricultural lands in the areas of  Majdal Shams, Sahita, Buq’atha, and Masa’da  to prevent the occupation forces from reaching their lands.
