Temperatures below average, rain showers expected in different regions

Damascus SANA- Temperatures remain below average from 2 to 4 degrees as the country is affected by a low air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere, accompanied by a relatively cold and humid air mass.

Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be cloudy and partly cloudy with an opportunity of rain showers over different regions and it will be cold and humid at night warning from fog at night and early morning hours in mountains and inland regions.

The winds will be westerly to northwest, between light and moderate, and the sea will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 19/8 , Daraa 18/8 , Homs 14/8 , Lattakia 19/16 , Aleppo 14/8 and Deir Ezzor 20/10 .

Rain falls in a number of Syrian provinces at the heaviest amount of rain was 31,9 mm in Tartous, 31mm in Quneitra and 22mm in Hama.

The rain amounts in the Syrian provinces according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reforms’ rain bulletin were as follows: 11mm in Damascus and its countryside, 7mm in Sweida, 15mm in Daraa, 16mm in Homs, 13mm in Lattakia, 9mm in Aleppo and 6mm in Raqqa.
