Water amounts coming from Alouk station reduced by half due to being controlled by Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries

Hasaka, SANA- General Establishment for Drinking Water in Hasaka province pointed out that the amount of water coming from Alouk project reduced by half due to controlling it by Turkish occupation forces and their terrorist mercenaries.

Director General of the Water Establishment in Hasaka Mahmoud al-Okla said, in a statement to SANA report, that the amounts of water pumped from Alouk project in Ras al-Ayn countryside towards the reservoirs of al-Hemmeh area reached approximately 40 thousand cubic meters per day, which represents half of the amount pumped by the project.

It is noteworthy, that the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries positioned in Ras al-Ayn city and its countryside completely controlled Alouk water’s project which supplies water to Hasaka city and its western countryside, and they intended from time to time to stop the work in the project or reduce the amounts of the pumped water.
