Grospic renews call for lifting unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by the West on Syria

Prague, SANA – Head of the Czech Parliamentary Committee for Friendship with Syria Stanislav Grospic renewed his call for lifting the  unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by the west on Syria.

Grospic pointed out that the immediate lifting of these measures has become a necessity in light of confronting the spread Coronavirus by Syria.

Speaking to SANA correspondent in Prague on Wednesday, Grospic said that the west itself find big difficulties in confronting the Coronavirus epidemic, however it continues to impose illegitimate sanctions on Syria and other countries.

He stressed that the western countries’ behaviors show clearly that they do not only hurt the other countries but they also hurt their people.
