Thursday weather: Skies partly cloudy, rainfalls expected

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will remain above from 5to 8 degrees above average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a relatively cold air mass.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and thundershowers are expected over the southwestern areas while at night, rains will also start to fall in the other areas and the weather will be misty with dusty conditions in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia regions.

The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low to moderate speed while at night its speed will exceed 70km per hour, particularly over the southern and the coastal areas while the sea waves will be low in height.

Expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follow: Damascus 25/14, Daraa 23/14, Homs 22/8, Hasaka 27/16 and Lattakia 21/16.
