Damascus, SANA – Means of cooperation in the domain of teaching Russian Language and the possibility of exchanging outstanding students between Syrian Russian universities were discussed.
That came during a meeting between Minister of Higher Education Mohammad Amer al-Mardini and Executive Director of Russian Synergy University Dr. Vadim Lobov and the accompanying delegation on Monday.
Minister al-Mardini stressed the ministry’s readiness to cooperate with all Russian universities in scientific issues and researches, hailing the strong relations binding the two countries.
Rector of Damascus University Mohammad Hassan al-Kurdi expressed readiness for mutual cooperation to support the Russian Language Department opened at Damascus University on Monday and the Arabic Language Department at Synergy University in Russia.
Dr. Lobov clarified that the University will support the new department through supplying it with suitable educational curricula and the required technologies.
Synergy Executive Manager pointed out that the University will rehabilitate halls of teaching Russian Language and supply them with audiovisual devices for creating an attractive educational environment, showing readiness for making this experience a success.
