American tourist group visits ancient city of Palmyra

Palmyra, SANA-A tourist group, of American nationality, visited on Monday Palmyra ancient city and inspected its monuments and the volume of sabotage, left by Daesh terrorists, before expelling them from the region thanks to the heroism of the Syrian Arab army.

The group, whose members support the causes of patriotic peoples and their resilience against colonialism and occupation powers, particularly the Syrian and Palestinian peoples, visited Palmyra national museum, Bel famous temple, street of columns and the archaeological auditorium.

Members of the group, some of them of Syrian nationality, documented the destruction that affected the ancient monuments due to Deash terrorist attacks, expressing sorrow over the sabotage that hit some historic features due to terrorism.
