Homs, SANA – A school vaccination campaign was launched on Tuesday for the first and sixth grade pupils, which will continue until the end of the first semester.
Dr. Azam Najaar, the director school health at the directorate of Homs education, said in a statement to SANA that the campaign is targeting nearly 60,000 first and sixth grade students , providing them with vaccines for polio, meningitis ,tetanus and diphtheria.
Dr. Najaar affirmed that the children who miss the vaccines will be vaccinated on February at the beginning of the second semester.
