Bratislava, SANA- Katarina Csefalvayova, Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Slovak Parliament, affirmed that launching an aggression by the Turkish regime against the Syrian territories will not only represent a blatant violation of the Syrian national sovereignty, but will also pose a threat to the lives of thousands of Syrian citizens who live in these areas.
Csefalvayova, in a statement to the Slovak News Agency, called upon the major powers to exert pressure on the Turkish regime to prevent it from continuing its aggression.
She noted that limits should be put for the Turkish regime, or “Its president Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s desire to expand in the region will become stronger.”
Csefalvayova underlined the necessity of exerting all possible efforts for achieving peace and stability in the region, warning against the dangerous consequences of the irrational and provocative behavior of the Turkish regime.
