Governorates, SANA_ Students from Syria and about 60 countries competed on Friday at Iran’s International Olympiad of Geometry.
The online test for the participants was conducted in each country of the participating states at the same time for four and a half hours .
146 students represented Syria in the Olympiad. They were distributed on four centers, namely, Faculty of Civil Engineering at Damascus University for participants from Damascus and its countryside, Daraa, Sweida and Quneitra. Faculty of Science at Al-Baath University for participants from Homs, Hama, and Raqqa. Faculty of Science at Aleppo University for participants from the governorates Aleppo, Deir Ezzor and Hassaka in addition to the National Center of Excelled Students in Tishreen University for participants from Lattakia and Tartous governorates.
