Damascus Countryside, SANA – Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, Prime Minister Imad Khamis on Monday visited the power plant in Deir Ali in Damascus Countryside, inspecting the plant’s second and third expansion projects.
Premier Khamis toured the departments of the completed second expansion project which has an overall capacity of 750 megawatt, raising the plant’s capacity to 1300 megawatt. The third expansion is currently 40% complete.
The Prime Minister also visited Martyr Suhail Imad Hospital in Qatana, touring its surgery, ICU, and dialysis departments.
