Syrian-Iraqi talks for booting cooperation and coordination in legal and judicial spheres

Baghdad, SANA – Iraqi Justice Minister Farouq Ameen al-Shawani discussed
with the Syria’s Ambassador in Baghdad means of cooperation and coordination between Syria and Iraq in different spheres, particularly justice and judiciary.

In a statement issued by the Iraqi Justice Ministry, al-Shawani stressed the deeply-rooted relations between Syria and Iraq and the need for boosting them in a way that serves the interest of the two brotherly peoples.

For his part, Ambassador, al-Dandah stressed the importance of the continued cooperation between the two brotherly counties in all levels, particularly in the legal and judicial sides.

He pointed out to activating cooperation between the Syrian and Iraqi justice ministries and exchanging legal and judicial expertise being an important step in a time when both countries are facing terrorism.
