Russia: Western countries try to keep focus of terrorism in Idleb

New York, SANA-permanent representative of Russia to the UN Vasily Nebenzya affirmed that western countries at UN Security Council try to preserve the focus of terrorism in Idleb.

“Keeping the focus of terrorism in Idleb represents a basic target for the western countries, Nebenzya said at a speech to the UN Security Council, according to RT on Tuesday.

He added that Russia will continue working in the framework of the items of understanding memo agreed upon in Sochi last September between Russia and the Turkish regime on the situation in the de-escalation zone of Idleb.

Nebenzya called for “not to obstruct the Russian efforts through creating a political coverage for the terrorists and their provocations.”
