Damascus, SANA-First religious Judge in Damascus, Mahmoud Ma’arawi, announced on Monday that Wednesday June 5^th, 2019 will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr in Syria.

“The crescent of Shawal wasn’t seen on Monday, so the first day of Shawal will come on Wednesday June 5^th, 2019 which coincides the first day of Eid al-Fitr in Syria,” the Judge said in a statement.
