Lattakia, SANA_ The Criminal Security Branch in Lattakia has seized 518 kg of narcotic Hashish within candy boxes.
The head of Criminal Security Branch in Lattakia Hussein Jumaa told SANA that they received information that a quantity of narcotic Hashish will enter Syria to be filled in sweets boxes in Damascus countryside in preparation to be smuggled again out of Syria.
He added that a truck with a container was ambushed near al-Burjan bridge; after emptying the contents of the container, it turned out to be cartons of sweets which were filled in the bottom with about 518 kg of narcotic Hashish.
A number people involved in the incident were also arrested.
