US-backed SDF militias open fire on protestors in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor, SANA- Popular protests against the US-backed SDF militias have expanded to include villages and towns of al-Shahil, al-Sour, and Mweileh in the northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The SDF militias on Saturday opened fire on the civilians in al-Hisan village in which protests continued against the militias for the 3rd consecutive day.

Local sources told SANA reporter that the protests against presence of SDF militias expanded during the past hours from the northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor to the villages and towns of al-Shahil, al-Sour, and Mweileh in the northeastern countryside of the city.

Hundreds of protesters raised banners demanding the expulsion of those militias from the area and exposing their theft of oil , properties and their daily attacks on civilians, the sources said.

The militias opened fire randomly on the locals who took to the streets for the 3rd consecutive day in al-Hisan village in the northwestern countryside, injuring a number of them, the sources indicated.

The locals blocked the roads in the area, chanting slogans against the presence of members of these militias in their villages,demanding immediate expulsion of them .
