Cabinet approves bill on regulating judicial documents

Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet on Tuesday approved a bill on regulating judicial documents and the agricultural production plan for the 2014-2015 season, in addition to setting the start of daylight savings time as the morning of Friday October 31st.

Chairing the session, Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi said that crude oil is available at Banyas refinery which is currently operating, which should help provide petroleum products, calling for monitoring transport fees and rehabilitating the public sector’s transport fleet.

He also called on the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Ministry to build up the strategic reserves of wheat and following up on the transportation of wheat crops.

Al-Halaqi also reviewed the results of his field visits to Damascus Countryside, Homs, and Tartous, asserting that the government is committed to developing all provinces and areas.

Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem briefed the Cabinet on recent political developments, while Local Administration Minister Omar Ghalawanji reviewed the state of the services sector and the efforts being made to restore communications in Hasaka and electricity in Aleppo.
