Baghdad, SANA-Iraqi Justice Minister Haidar al-Zamli discussed Monday with the Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad Satam Jadaan al-Dandah means of activating cooperation between Syria and Iraq, particularly in justice and counterterrorism domains.
A statement by the Iraqi Justice Ministry announced that during the meeting, al-Zamli stressed the need for signing an agreement on extraditing prisoners between the two countries and other legal and security agreements as both countries are facing terrorism.
The Syrian Ambassador, for his part, said in a statement to SANA that boosting the judicial and justice relations between Damascus and Baghdad comes within the framework of the two countries’ desire to develop their relations on all levels, particularly in the field of combating terrorism.
