Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 5 to 7 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general to become cloudy over the southwestern areas at night and light rain showers are expected to fall over these areas while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia (desert) areas.
The wind will be of changeable direction to easterly with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 30/13, Daraa 31/12, Homs 29/9, Lattakia 26/12, Aleppo 28/9 and Deir Ezzor 32/13.
