Sunday weather: Temperatures to rise, skies partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general.

The wind will be northwesterly with a low to moderate speed while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 22/9, Daraa 22/9, Homs 21/8, Lattakia 22/11, Aleppo 19/9 and Deir Ezzor 25/13.
