Monastery of St. James the Mutilated provides two mobile clinics forDeirEzzor citizens

Deir Ezzor, SANA –Two mobile clinics arrived in Deir Ezzor city, donated by the Monastery of Saint James the Mutilated,to help provide health services for the citizens of the province.

Member of Deir Ezzor Executive office Fawzi al-Muhammad told SANA that the two clinics will work in collaboration with the Health Directorate to provide medical services to the citizens of Deir Ezzor.

 The province’s Health Director Abd Najem al-Obeid underlined the need for such clinics to support the heath sector, as these clinics are important due to their ease of movement and their ability to reach the patients in their areas of residence.

 The administrative supervisor of the Monastery of Saint James the Mutilated project Abdullatif Yacoub said that the two mobile clinics will provide medical services and medicine for free to the people of Deir Ezzor, and they are equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED), digital blood pressure monitors, oxygen respirators and tanks, and Diabetes and blood testing devices, in addition to medicine.

He also confirmed that contracts were signed with doctors, nurses, and technicians in coordination with the Directorate of Health to staff the clinic, which will target the most needy and remote areas.
