Damascus, SANA – The People’s Assembly approved the bill of the state general budget for the financial year 2018 during its session chaired by Speaker Hammoudeh Sabbagh on Tuesday, and it became a law.
Article 1 of the law states that the state general budget’s allocations for the financial year 2018 are set at SYP 3187 billion.
Minister of Finance Mamoun Hamdan stated that the 2018 budget is developmental, focusing on the productive process and encouraging all types of production, especially agricultural and industrial sectors, in addition to supporting the exporting process.
