Damascus, SANA-On the occasion of Culture Day, two exhibitions for books and manuscripts were inaugurated on Sunday at Al-Assad National Library.
The manuscripts’ exhibition included some of al-Assad’s Library most valuable and precious collections, which are of fine calligraphy, precious paper and gold-plated cover.
The presented manuscripts are documenting the cultural heritage of Syria in all its literary and scientific aspects.
Meanwhile, the Syrian General Organization of Book showcased in the book exhibition its publications from 2009 and till 2017 in addition to samples of the Culture Ministry’s archive.
